Calculate CO₂ footprints: companies (CCF) & products (PCF)
We start with your data and calculate your CO₂ emissions based on established standards: the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.
Why you need a CO₂ footprint
Anyone who wants to reduce emissions must first understand them. A CO₂ footprint shows how many emissions occur – and exactly where they arise within your company, your products or individual processes.
Why is this important?
We collect your data, assign it clearly and calculate your CO₂ emissions in line with recognised standards. This forms the basis for customer requests, CSRD reporting and a credible reduction strategy.
A reliable CO₂ baseline makes it visible which areas have the greatest impact, where reductions are realistic and which measures actually deliver results. You need this foundation for reporting, for discussions with customers and partners – and to make internal decisions based on data rather than assumptions.
How a CO₂ balance comes together with us
We keep the process straightforward: review the data, assign it correctly, calculate the emissions – and you end up with a clear CO₂ baseline. No complicated models, no unnecessary loops. We keep the process straightforward: review the data, assign it correctly, calculate the emissions – and you end up with a clear CO₂ baseline. - 1
Data review & gap closing
What you already have is sufficient. We review your existing data, consumption figures and documents for plausibility and identify what is still missing for the CO₂ calculation. Any gaps are closed in a transparent and scientifically sound manner. Step by step, this creates a reliable data basis for calculating your CO₂ emissions.
- 2
Assignment by scopes
We assign data consistently. All consumption data is allocated in a standards-compliant way to the correct scopes, categories and system boundaries – namely Scope 1, 2 and 3. This makes it clear which emission sources account for which share and what ultimately matters in the CO₂ footprint.
- 3
Calculation of emissions
We calculate your emissions. Whether for a company, a product or an individual process, we prepare your CO₂ footprint transparently, clearly and in line with recognised standards. We apply up-to-date emission factors so that all results are precise, verifiable and fully traceable – down to how each individual value is derived.
- 4
Reporting & results
We create a solid foundation. The result is a CO₂ footprint that transparently shows where emissions occur and which areas will become relevant going forward. You receive a clear and reliable report as a sound basis for reporting, audits, ratings, discussions with customers and partners, and the next steps in emissions reduction.
What you’ll have in the end
You receive a CO₂ balance that clearly shows where emissions occur and how the numbers come together. Understandable, well documented and without unnecessary complexity.
Clear CO₂ figures
You see transparently how high your emissions are – by area, by scope, by source.
This creates an overall picture that’s solid enough for GHG reporting and for any later steps in your climate strategy.Open and verifiable documentation
All data, factors and assumptions are shown in a way that’s easy to follow.
This makes your CO₂ balance audit-ready, GHG-compliant and easy to explain to customers or partners without back-and-forth.Reliable basis for reporting
The balance can be used directly for ESG reports, the GHG Protocol, internal requirements or customer requests.
You have all values prepared in the format needed for disclosure, reporting or external standards.A foundation that holds
You clearly see which areas may become relevant later – for reduction, procurement or planning.
This gives you a factual CO₂ basis on which realistic measures can be discussed, decided and prioritised.
Why we might be a good fit
We work reliably, transparently and with technical care. For us, CO₂ accounting means working in a way that’s easy to follow and delivering results you can build on. For 15 years, we’ve been helping companies record and understand their emissions with clarity.
→ Experience that matters
For more than 15 years, we’ve been supporting CO₂ balances — dependable and with an eye for what truly counts.
→ Working to clear, recognised standards
We follow the GHG Protocol, ISO guidelines and well-documented factors. This lets you see exactly how the results are produced.
→ Thorough, without stretching things out
We calculate precisely and explain everything in a way that makes sense. And we leave out anything that only complicates the process.
→ Clarity that helps you move forward
We organise your data, set priorities and show where to focus — so your CO₂ balance becomes something you can use in day-to-day decisions.

Frequently asked questions about CO₂ accounting
Answers to the questions that most often come up when getting started with CO₂ accounting.
No, data is rarely gapless from day one. That is not an obstacle, but part of our job. We review together what is available (invoices, meter readings, lists). Where data is missing, we work with scientifically sound average values (secondary data) to close gaps in compliance with standards. So you don’t have to "clean up" before contacting us.
Yes, without reservation. We work strictly according to the world's leading standards: the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG) for companies and ISO 14064 / ISO 14067 for products. This guarantees that your footprint is internationally comparable and withstands audits by customers, banks, or authorities.
That depends entirely on your objective.
Software (nature.io / ecozoom): Ideal for a quick, cost-efficient start. Perfect if you have simple structures, want to manage data independently, and are looking for an initial baseline assessment.
Personal Consulting: The safest route for complex requirements. We recommend a guided project if you are subject to CSRD reporting, have complex supply chains, or are facing an audit. In these cases, we take the technical burden off your shoulders.Software: You can start immediately. As soon as you have entered your consumption data, you will see your result – often within a few hours.
Consulting: A typical project (Corporate Carbon Footprint) takes about 4 to 8 weeks from kick-off to the final report. This depends largely on how quickly we receive access to your data. Our pricing is scalable and transparent. With our software solutions, you start in the range of a few hundred euros. For guided consulting, we provide an individual fixed-price offer – depending on your company size and complexity. This gives you full cost certainty with no hidden fees.
