CERTANIA SUSTAINABILITY
A good network is not recognised by its size. But by the fact that your next step becomes clearer.
natureOffice, DFGE, and Terra Institute combine carbon footprinting and software, ESG reporting and ratings, as well as sustainability strategy and transformation. You start with your task – we bring together the expertise that is truly needed for it.
WHY WE WORK NETWORKED
A CO₂ footprint shows where emissions are generated. However, it does not yet determine which change makes sense first.
A sustainability report structures information. However, it does not yet anchor sustainability within the company.
A strategy sets the direction. However, without reliable data, it quickly remains abstract.
The added value is created when these steps build on one another.
WHAT CHANGES FOR YOU
Fewer interfaces. More context.
You do not need a new service provider for every new question. You need a way where the next task can build on what is already there.
01
Start small
Not every company needs a comprehensive sustainability programme straight away. We start with the question that needs to be answered today.
02
Reuse data
CO₂ data can subsequently be incorporated into reduction planning, VSME reporting, ratings, customer inquiries or strategy processes.
03
Choose the right depth
From a pragmatic starting point to an international supply chain, we only add the level of technical depth that makes sense for your task.
04
Keep a clear path
Roles, handovers and outcomes are coordinated. You do not have to mediate between multiple agencies yourself.
CERTANIA SUSTAINABILITY
01
NATUREOFFICE
Collect and make CO₂ data usable
Corporate and Product Carbon Footprints, ecozoom software, reduction planning, climate communication and documented climate contributions.
02
DFGE
Deepen data and prepare it for requirements
Complex CO₂ accounting, international supply chains, ESG reporting, and ratings such as CDP or EcoVadis.
03
TERRA INSTITUTE
Embedding sustainability in the company
Sustainability strategy, organisational development, leadership, further education and support for change processes.
Not every project needs all three perspectives. The key is to involve the right expertise when it makes a tangible difference.
1
Clarify the initial situation
What do you need to answer, deliver, or decide?
2
Determine the right starting point
Is a carbon footprint, a software module, or a compact orientation guide sufficient?
3
Targeted addition of expertise
Reporting, ratings, strategy or change management support are only added when they are needed.
4
Keep results compatible
Data and insights are structured in such a way that subsequent steps can build upon them.
HOW THE COLLABORATION WORKS
You do not start with a complete package. But with your most important question.
WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO START?
01 · CO₂ DATA
“First, we need a CCF.”
natureOffice creates the data basis and, on request, sets up ecozoom for future updates. If VSME or reporting requirements arise later on, DFGE can provide supplementary support.
02 · STRATEGY
“Our data is there. But the direction is missing.”
natureOffice or DFGE establish or verify the basis. Terra assists in deriving strategy, responsibilities and change from this.
03 · REQUIREMENTS
"Ratings, products, and supply chains are interlinked."
natureOffice brings in PCF and software expertise. DFGE complements this with its perspective on complex supply chains, ratings, and international requirements.

WHAT COLLABORATION MEANS TO US
Together does not mean everything from a single source at any cost.
This means: a coordinated approach, clearly defined roles and transparent responsibility. Existing data is reviewed, not collected anew without asking. Additional expertise is brought in when it is technically necessary – not because a large package sounds better.
Membership of a network is not a substitute for an independent audit and does not constitute automatic certification of individual services or results.

SHORT ANSWER
What the network means for your project.
Do we always have to commission all three companies?
No. We start with your specific task. Often, one specialist is enough. Further expertise is only brought in if it makes sense for the result.
Who remains our point of contact?
At the start, it is clarified who will lead the project and what roles those involved will take on. This ensures you maintain a clear point of contact and do not have to coordinate handovers yourself.
Can existing data continue to be used?
In principle yes, provided that the content, reference period, methodology and data quality are suitable for the new use case. We will check this before any additional data collection is planned.
Does CERTANIA automatically mean testing or certification?
No. Network membership does not constitute certification by natureOffice of any single service or customer outcome. Independent audits must be agreed upon separately in each case and must be methodologically distinct.
YOUR NEXT STEP
You do not need to know who you need just yet.
Tell us which question your business currently needs to answer. We will clarify which starting point makes sense, what expertise is actually needed – and what you can leave out for now.
