The CO₂e calculation remains the technical basis. What is new is above all how the result becomes visible to the outside world – and how clearly it remains separated from a voluntary climate contribution.

The Key Fact Sheet
It summarises the result and reference value, assessment subject, system boundary, reference year, methodology, database, assumptions, as well as data status and version.
The documents can be reviewed at leisure – even if a data record is subsequently updated.
OPTIONAL: CLIMATE CONTRIBUTION
A voluntary climate contribution can be made via certificate-based units or through the direct support of specific projects. Both pathways remain documented separately from the CO₂e data.
A climate contribution is not an entry ticket for communicating CO₂e data. It is an additional decision – also for the direct support of concrete projects.

WHEN MULTIPLE TRACKINGS COME TOGETHER

Under one Network ID, multiple CCF and PCF trackings can converge in a CO₂e profile. Alongside this, voluntary climate contributions are bundled in a separate project overview.
Being discoverable together does not mean: offset against each other.

Is 'CO₂e data available' a sustainability seal?
No. The label is a factual piece of information. It does not assess the designated object and does not recognise any special environmental performance.
Is a climate contribution a prerequisite for the info pack?
No. CO₂e data can be made available using Keyfactsheet, Licence plate and CO₂e-Profile, without simultaneously supporting a project.
Does the climate contribution reduce the PCF or CCF?
No. The calculated value remains unchanged. The climate contribution is not offset against the balanced emissions.
What is the difference between a key facts sheet and tracking?
The key fact sheet compactly summarises the essential calculation bases. The tracking provides this information digitally and can be updated and uniquely accessed via a tracking ID.
What does the Network ID bundle?
It makes several individual CCF and PCF profiles, as well as multiple project contributions, discoverable under a single login. CO₂e information and climate contributions remain in separate overviews.
