WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Big promises change little. Good foundations do.
We believe that corporate climate action does not need the biggest possible claim. It needs reliable data, traceable decisions, and the courage to openly show what has been achieved – and what has not yet.
That is why we do not start with a label or a message. We start with the question of what a company really wants to know, change or explain.
Don't claim more than the data supports. But also don't show less than what is actually being done.

Not born out of a theory. Created from tasks that had to be solved.
Our history is no proof that we know everything. But it explains why software, consulting and project practice belong together for us.
2008
Making CO₂ calculable
natureOffice is starting with carbon footprinting for companies and products. The aim: results must not only be generated, but also remain traceable.
ECOZOOM
Recurring questions become software
From real data gaps, numerous calculations and customer requirements, ecozoom is created – as a tool for daily CO₂ work.
2010 / 2012
Long-term on site
Since 2010 we have been working in Togo; in 2012, PROJECT TOGO officially launched. Together with local partners, we combine natural forest reforestation with social and economic projects.

Part of the CERTANIA Holding
The new partnership expands our professional exchange and creates space to further develop our services and our software.

For CCFs and PCFs, we document the assessment object, system boundaries, data status, sources, assumptions and exclusions in a traceable manner.

ecozoom was born out of real projects. The software structures data, calculations and updates for day-to-day business operations.

Results you can work with
We contextualise numbers and prepare them for internal decisions, reduction planning, reporting, and credible climate communication.

Clear separation instead of a broad overall assertion
We document voluntary climate contributions and project support separately. They do not alter either the CCF or the PCF and are not a substitute for reduction.

Since when has natureOffice been working in CO₂ management?
natureOffice has been working on CO₂ accounting and solutions for companies since 2008. Over time, our software offerings, project formats and other services have developed from this practical experience.
Which standards does natureOffice work to?
Depending on the use case, the calculation logic is based on the GHG Protocol and relevant methodological principles. The specific standards, system boundaries and data requirements that apply are defined and documented in the respective project.
Is natureOffice itself certified?
natureOffice has not implemented a company-wide, traditional quality management system. Instead, we rely on clear responsibilities, professional diligence, and transparent documentation. Individual services, processes, and projects have been and continue to be independently audited.
What role does CERTANIA play?
natureOffice has been part of the CERTANIA Holding since 2023. This connection strengthens our professional exchange and the further development of our services; natureOffice continues to operate with its own team, its own software, and its existing project relationships.
