SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT

Before you set new goals, you should know what you can build on.

Before you set new goals, you should know what you can build on.

Before you set new goals, you should know what you can build on.

Something is already happening in many companies: energy consumption is being recorded, customer queries are being answered, individual measures are being implemented, suppliers are being approached, or sustainability is being communicated.

What is often missing is a shared overview.

Which activities are already in place? Which data is reliable? Who is responsible for what? Where are the gaps? And which topics deserve attention now?

By commissioning the sustainability assessment, you are asking us to bring these questions together, contextualise them, and arrange them in a clear order.

Together with you, we create a realistic picture of your current starting position. To do this, we do not just look at individual data or measures. We connect what is already happening in the company with the people who bear responsibility for it and the requirements placed on you from the outside. The goal is not to have as long an inventory as possible. The goal is clarity about:

which you can already build upon,

what is not yet sufficiently clarified or reliable,

which topics make sense now,

and which steps are only due later or not at all.

WHAT WE DO FOR YOU

What we do for you

What we do for you

01

1. Make activities and measures visible

We record which sustainability topics are already being addressed.

This can include, for example, energy, mobility, purchasing, supply chain, packaging, products, employees, communication, or social projects. We do not just look at major programmes. Measures that have long been part of everyday life can also be an important foundation.

What is crucial is: What is actually being done? What is planned? What is regularly tracked – and what has so far depended on individual people?

02

2. Classify data and documents

We review the information that is already available and assess its usability.

These can include, for example, energy and material consumption, CO₂ calculations, customer requirements, questionnaires, guidelines, reports, certificates or internal evaluations.

This is not about immediately and definitively checking every figure from a technical perspective. We are first creating transparency about which data can be reliably used, which sources are missing, and where the effort required for a better foundation would be worthwhile.

03

3. Understanding responsibilities and processes

Sustainability rarely fails because no one wants to do anything. Often, the connection between data, specialist departments and decisions is missing. That is why we speak with the people who provide information, implement measures or make decisions. We look at responsibilities, handovers and decision-making processes. This makes it visible:

Who is looking after which topic today

Where knowledge exists

Where information is lost or collected twice

Where a clear responsibility or a binding process is missing

04

4. Classify external requirements

Customers, banks, tenders, employees, supply chain partners and legal developments ask different questions.

We assess which requirements are currently relevant for your company, which are likely to develop in the near future, and which do not have priority at the moment.

Not every request immediately demands a new project. However, it should be categorised so that you can make an informed decision on whether to take action, monitor the situation, or take no further action for the time being.

05

5. Prioritise fields of action

In the end, it is not about having the longest possible list of measures.

We combine activities, data, responsibilities, and requirements into an overall picture. From this, we derive the areas of action that will truly take you forward from your current starting point.

You will not receive a generic recommendation of what companies 'actually ought to do'. You will receive a reasoned prioritization for your business.

HOW THE COLLABORATION WORKS

How the collaboration works

How the collaboration works

How the collaboration works

Gathering existing material

We start with the documents, data and activities that are already there. You do not need to have a completed sustainability project prepared for this. Together, we will clarify which topics, information and people should be included in the baseline assessment.

Having the right conversations

We involve the people who know the processes, data, and decisions. This ensures that the picture is not formed from a single perspective. The discussions help to put figures and documents into the correct context: What is already working? What is only being done selectively? And where is there still a need for clarification?

Merge starting position

We connect the individual insights. This makes connections, open points, gaps and duplicate work visible. Not everything that is missing is immediately a problem. And not everything that is already running is already permanently anchored in the company. Both are clearly identified.

Derive fields of action

We prioritise the next sensible steps. In doing so, we distinguish between topics that should be addressed now, topics requiring further clarification, and topics that can be observed for the time being.

WHAT YOU GET

What you get

What you get

What you get

You will receive a clear assessment of your current situation.

She shows:

— which activities and foundations are already in place,

— which data and evidence can be reliably used,

— where information, responsibilities, or processes are missing,

— how responsibilities are distributed today,

— which requirements are now relevant, which areas of action result from them, and which next steps make sense – and which do not yet.

The result is a shared vision for the site, which the management and departments can use to guide their ongoing work.

For example, it can be the foundation for preparing a CO₂ assessment, categorising a report or rating, developing a sustainability strategy, or targetedly improving internal processes.

WHO THIS OFFER IS FOR

Who this offer is suitable for

Who this offer is suitable for

Who this offer is suitable for

The sustainability assessment is useful for companies that already have initial activities but do not yet have a complete overview.

Sustainability has so far been running in parallel across several areas,

manage different personal data, customer enquiries or measures,

You want to know whether your existing foundations are sufficient for the next requirement,

a report, a rating or a strategy is discussed,

or the management needs a comprehensible basis for decision-making.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE

What is not included in the service

The sustainability assessment is not a general sustainability rating.

It is not a substitute for a full CO₂ footprint assessment, a Product Carbon Footprint, a double materiality analysis, legal advice, a complete sustainability strategy, or an audit report.

It creates the basis on which these steps can be sensibly planned.

FIRST UNDERSTAND. THEN GO FURTHER.

Understand first. Then move forward.
