VSME REPORTING
Many medium-sized enterprises have long possessed information on energy, CO₂, employees, suppliers or responsibilities. It is just rarely kept in one place and usually does not yet follow a common logic.
VSME reporting brings this information together – as a voluntary, practical framework for companies wishing to respond professionally to external enquiries.
YOUR ORDER
You are commissioning us to consolidate your existing sustainability information into an individual VSME report. The report is intended to work for its specific purpose: for customers, banks, supply chains, tenders and internal teams.
VSME is a voluntary European reporting framework for small and medium-sized enterprises. It is leaner than a CSRD report, but structured enough to answer recurring requests in a comprehensible manner.
WHAT WE DO
01
Determine the occasion and depth of reporting
We clarify who will read the report, which questions it should answer, and which VSME contents are actually relevant for this purpose.
02
Basics and structuring data
We map existing data, policies, key figures, CO₂ information and evidence to the reporting topics.
03
Develop content in an understandable way
We prepare the business model, responsibility, environmental and social issues in such a way that the statements fit your company and remain comprehensible.
04
Correctly categorise key figures
We explain results in terms of time period, database, methodology, changes, and identifiable limitations – without promising more than the underlying data supports.
05
Finalise report together
We coordinate content, statements and open points with you and prepare the final version for the agreed use.
HOW WE WORK
Clarify requirements
We will discuss the purpose of the report: recurring customer enquiries, banking discussions, tenders, internal management, or a voluntary publication.
Bringing together the basics
We gather existing data, documentation, policies, and contact persons. A fully prepared data room is not required for this.
Develop VSME content
We structure the relevant information along the VSME framework and make it transparent what is proven, what is contextualised, and what is still outstanding.
Agree and complete report
The report will be jointly reviewed and finalised. Data sources, assumptions, and potential next steps in development will remain documented in a traceable manner.

FOR WHOM
This offer is suitable when existing information needs to be consolidated in an understandable way and contextualised comprehensibly for external target groups.
For example, if:
For medium-sized enterprises: If you want to report in a structured way on a voluntary basis, without setting up a full CSRD report.
For recurring requests: When customers, banks, or business partners should not have to have information compiled from scratch every time.
For common foundations: When data and activities from multiple areas are to form a comprehensible overall picture for the first time.
For a clear external explanation: When key figures and measures should not only be documented, but also explained in a way that is easy to understand in their context.
CLEARLY CATEGORISED
VSME is a voluntary reporting framework. It does not replace a CSRD report, nor does it make a binding statement on whether your company is legally required to report.
This offer is not a reality check or a general assessment of your position: here, we prepare the report ourselves. Furthermore, it does not replace an external audit or rating. If data, processes, and responsibilities are to be systematically checked against a defined framework beforehand, a reporting and gap analysis is the appropriate step.
Reporting does not automatically make you more sustainable. It makes visible what is there, what is changing – and what needs to be done next.
INFORMATION BECOMES A COMMON LANGUAGE.
We will look together at your requirements and the foundations that are already in place. After that, we can set up your VSME reporting appropriately.
