WHY THE TIMEFRAME MATTERS
The system is permanent. The result always belongs to a monitoring period.
84 MW describe the potential output. They do not say how much electricity was generated in a year or how much CO₂e was offset.
For VCS 1787, the documented grid feed-in is linked to a methodologically determined emission factor of the Indian electricity system. This results in a calculated emission reduction for a defined period.

Regarding the status: The register entry is the authoritative source for the current project and unit status. 'Registered' does not mean that every monitoring period is verified or that every unit is available.
02 · WHAT THE PROJECT PROVIDES FOR
Systematically find, quantify and repair leaks
The project addresses fugitive methane emissions from above-ground components of the existing gas network. Crediting is based not only on the number of repaired components, but on the documented leak rate within the methodological project boundary.
01
Examine network components
Valves, flanges, regulators, insulating pieces and other accessible components are systematically checked for leaks. Emergency repairs and certain measures already planned are to be treated methodologically separately.
02
Quantify leak rate
Measuring devices record relevant gas flows or concentrations. The measuring point, device, calibration, time, and component are documented in a data chain.
03
Check measured values
Meter data, billing documents and defined QA/QC procedures form the data chain for the respective monitoring period.
03 · HOW A UNIT IS CREATED
ACM0002 regulates the comparison between project electricity and the electricity that would have been generated in the grid without the project. The version and input parameters belong to the respective monitoring period.
01
Determine reference network
The baseline describes the emission intensity of the grid electricity generation assumed in the absence of the project in the Indian grid.
02
Measure net electricity
Generation, self-consumption and grid feed-in are documented for the defined period in accordance with the monitoring plan.
03
Apply emission factor
The eligible electricity quantity is linked with the methodologically determined grid emission factor; relevant project and leakage emissions are taken into account.
04
Verify and output
Following independent verification, VCUs can be issued with vintage and serial numbers. Retirement documents their specific use.
04 · OTHER PROJECT REFERENCES
Described additional benefits remain separate questions of proof
The project-specific SDG report identifies additional activities. These should be communicated with a timeframe and source, rather than as a permanent overall rating.
POWER SYSTEM
Renewable feed-in
For 2021–2022, 313,062.51 MWh net is documented. Any statement regarding other years requires their own monitoring data.
HEALTH
Medical Camp
The SDG Report 2019–2020 describes a health and eye screening camp for 357 people. This is a time-bound project activity, not a global health impact.
QUALIFICATION
In-house training
For the same reporting period, 26 training courses are mentioned. Scope, content and impact can only be categorised within the underlying reporting boundaries.
demarcation
SDGs are not quality seals
An SDG reference describes an alignment with goals. It does not automatically confirm quality, additionality, or lasting social impact.
TO VIEW
This is why this site does not feature a large SDG icon wall. Instead, it shows which statement comes from which document and which time period.
