CO₂E DATA FOR CONSTRUCTION CHEMISTRY
Impact begins long before the construction site.
A construction chemical product does not only come into existence when it is applied. Its impact begins with binders and fillers, polymers and additives, with the packaging, the supplier, and with every modification of a formulation. Your CO₂e data should make this journey traceable.

IN SHORT
Three questions. Three clear answers.
To make it immediately clear what is at stake for your print shop – and how you can turn order data into traceable CO₂ data.
01 · What is at stake for your industry?
Every job is different. Paper, format, print run and finishing all play a part in determining the CO₂e information that a printed product carries.
02 · Why is CO₂e data becoming relevant in your industry?
Customers want values for the exact order or variant they are procuring – not for an abstract average.
03 · What specifically does natureOffice enable?
ecozoom combines order, material and production data into documented CO₂e information that can be carried forward for recurring orders.
WHY
A product does not stay the same just because its name remains the same.
In construction chemistry, change is part of reality. A raw material is replaced. A supplier changes. A container is adjusted. A formulation is further developed. For development, purchasing, and product management, these are normal decisions. For CO₂e data, they are crucial.
A raw material is being replaced.
A supplier is changing.
A package is being adjusted.
A recipe is being further developed.
Product information only remains helpful if it does not obscure these changes, but is able to anticipate them.

WHERE THE QUESTIONS ARISE
The crucial questions do not arise in reporting.
They arise where products are developed further, raw materials are purchased, and customers are advised. A CO₂e figure does not answer these questions on its own.
1
If something changes: what does that mean for our data?
2
If someone asks: What can we really say?
3
A number only becomes valuable when it remains clear what it refers to.
TWO PERSPECTIVES
A common starting point. Different answers.
Some questions are aimed at your company. Others at a specific product. Both can be based on the same database – but they do not answer the same thing.
01 · COMPANY
CCF
The Corporate Carbon Footprint describes your company's emissions within a clear period of time and with a clear boundary.
for corporate management and sustainability reports
for customer and supply chain inquiries
for tenders, ratings and reports
02 · PRODUCT & RECIPE
PCF
The Product Carbon Footprint describes the footprint of a defined recipe, product, or variant.
for data sheets and customer enquiries
for product families and variants
for traceable product information
Common data basis. Different perspectives.
THINK AHEAD
Rethinking formulations, instead of recount of products.
A good database follows your product logic. It does not treat every customer enquiry as a new individual project, but instead creates a comprehensible starting point for what already belongs together.
01
Raw Materials & Packaging
are structured sensibly for once – from binders and fillers to containers and packaging.
02
Formulations & Product Families
are understood for what they are: related solutions with common foundations.
03
Variants & Changes
are added where they actually happen – for raw materials, suppliers, packaging, and recipes.
To ensure that information retains its meaning, we define the assessment object, reference unit, system boundary, time period, method, data sources, and assumptions. What is clear is clearly shown. What changes can be further developed.

OUR OFFER
From the formulation to traceable information.
With ecozoom and personal support, we structure data from raw materials, packaging and manufacturing to connect product management, sales, purchasing and customer communication.
01
Finding the right starting point
Company balance sheet, recipe, product family or customer enquiry: together we will clarify which question you need to answer next.
02
Build your data logic
We define the reporting object, reference unit, system boundary, time period, data sources and assumptions – tailored to your reality.
03
Making information usable
For data sheets, tenders, customer inquiries and internal decisions – fact-based, comprehensible and updatable.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
CO₂e information is not a seal of quality.
We don't turn your CO₂e data into a seal of approval. We show what lies behind it.
Objective information specifies the balance sheet object, reference value, reference year, system boundary, method, data sources, and assumptions. Voluntary project support can be documented separately – however, it does not alter either the CCF or the PCF.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A good start is concrete.
Do we have to calculate each product individually?
No. Recurring raw materials, recipes, containers and product families can be sensibly merged. The decisive factor is that differences and changes remain visible.
Which reference value is the correct one?
This depends on the product and the underlying question: for example kilograms, bag, bucket, cartridge or another clearly defined unit.
What happens if a recipe changes?
Then the database is further developed in the right place. That is precisely why it is built up in a structured manner.
What if we are missing data from suppliers?
Then we will start with the information that is available. Sources and assumptions remain visible and can be specified in more detail later.
